As a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, we’ve spent more than 20 years helping pilots, airlines, and aviation organizations maintain high standards for safety, performance, and operational readiness.
Our team of more than 400 instructors brings extensive experience across multiple aircraft types and training environments. We support Delta Air Lines, major and regional airlines, aircraft charter operators, and manufacturers by providing supplemental pilot instruction, curriculum support, and flight simulator training that supports safe, consistent, and effective flight operations.

Our Facility
We are proud to operate the FAA Part 142 Delta Air Lines Aircrew Training Center, home to the nation’s leading ATP-CTP course, located on the Delta Campus in Atlanta, Georgia and Delta Pilot Training Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our facilities are designed to prepare the next generation of pilots.

He has over 25 years’ experience in leadership roles across multiple lines of business.

Captain Bob Skinner is the Senior Vice President, Operations & Client Experience at Delta Professional Services (DPS). Bob is a seasoned aviation professional with 35 years of expertise in air carrier training and operations, specializing in safety, standardization, culture change, and operational efficiency. A proven leader at managing both people and processes, Bob drives operational efficiency and the customer experience for the organization. Captain Skinner has been recognized for his outstanding contributions and positions of high responsibility in aviation as a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS). Established in 1866, the Royal Aeronautical Society is the only professional body dedicated to aerospace, aviation, and space communities to further the advancement of aeronautical art, science, and engineering around the world.

Lakesia Franklin-Jones is the Director of Employee Experience at Delta Professional Services (DPS). Since joining Delta in 2011, she has been a driving force behind the company’s evolution, most notably spearheading the standup of DPS and the Global Technology Hub. Previously serving as the HR Leader for DPS and Delta Flight Training & Standards, Lakesia utilizes her 20 years of experience and PMP certification to lead transformative organizational initiatives. An Atlanta native with an MBA and a Master’s in Project Management, she is dedicated to enhancing DPS’ global footprint and employee experience.

Instruction Services
We provide experienced flight training instructors directly to your training center or operational location. Our instructors are trained and qualified in your procedures and curriculum, allowing them to seamlessly integrate with your team while delivering consistent, high-quality pilot training and instruction.
ATP-CTP
Since 2016, DPS has delivered the FAA-required ATP Certification Training Program (ATP-CTP), helping thousands of aspiring pilots prepare for the next step in their careers. Our immersive 7-day program combines simulator training, air-line focused instruction, and real-world insights from experienced airline pilots. FAA-certified and VA-approved, the course provides the knowledge and training required to pursue an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.
Consultation Services
DPS provides consulting services across flight training and standards, helping aviation organizations enhance training programs, improve operational readiness, and support long-term growth.
