Delta Professional Services and The Boeing Company renew agreement to support global flight training programs

Delta Professional Services (DPS) has renewed its agreement with The Boeing Company to continue providing supplemental flight instruction at Boeing’s Miami Training Campus and to support Boeing-led training initiatives worldwide.

Under the renewed agreement, DPS delivers instructor support aligned with competency-based training and assessment (CBTA) principles—an approach that evaluates pilot skills and decision-making through realistic, scenario-driven operations. This methodology supports consistent, outcomes-focused proficiency across aircraft fleets and global operating environments.

“Boeing is pleased to extend our collaboration with Delta Professional Services, whose expertise in competency-based instruction and scenario-driven assessment strengthens our ability to deliver world-class training that builds resilient pilots,” said Tom Wagner, Director of Global Training Campus Operations at Boeing. “The continuity provided by this renewal, along with the dedication of the DPS team onsite in Miami, supports our shared priorities of advancing aviation safety, training excellence, and operational readiness worldwide.”

The agreement builds on a partnership that began in April 2023 and reflects the strong alignment between the two organizations on safety, quality, and operational performance.

“This renewal underscores the trust Boeing places in Delta Professional Services and the value our teams bring to high-performance training environments,” said Marc Lippens, President of Delta Professional Services. “We are proud to continue supporting Boeing’s training programs in Miami and across broader global initiatives through the experience, professionalism, and instructional excellence of our DPS team.”

The renewed contract spans three years, with an option for a two-year extension. DPS will continue to provide specialized instructional services through a team of 43 professionals, including 37 instructors and six corporate and support staff. The Miami-based program is led by Heather Frongillo, Regional Program Manager for Florida, whose on-site leadership and engagement have been instrumental in the program’s success.

Delta Professional Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, delivering flight training, standards, and operational support services to airline, military, and aviation partners around the world. Drawing on Delta’s deep operational expertise, DPS helps customers enhance safety, build pilot proficiency, and strengthen operational readiness across global operations.

For Captain Rich O’Sullivan, aviation was not the original plan. Today, Rich brings that wealth of experience to Delta Professional Services (DPS) as a B767/757 Instructor supporting DHL Guatemala […]
